Import a character using an FBX file, or export a 3D garment to Maya or 3ds Max.
Import FBX
Go to and click Main Menu > File > Import → An Import dialog appears.
Select a *.fbx file and click Open button. → The file is opened in the viewport. It loads as a 3D character model with collision processing for garment.
Export FBX
Export a 3D garment. You can only export 3D garments in 1.6 or below version. Exporting other types of 3D items, such as models, bags, shoes, and accessories, will be developed in the next versions.
Select a garment group to export in the Outliner.
Go to and click Main Menu - File - Export → An Export File dialog appears.
Set a path and file name.
Click the dropdown button of Save as type and choose FBX (*.fbx).
Click Save button.
→ The garment is exported as a FBX file.
Import FBX
