Add or snap points at desired locations, and edit curves more smoothly.

Add Even Points

  1. Select one of the following tools:

    • 2D Editor > 2D Toolbar > Point Tool

    • 2D Editor > 2D Toolbar > Edit Tool

  2. Right-click on a segment of a pattern / internal / topology shape
    → A context menu will appear.

  3. Click the "Add Even Points" option in the context menu
    → A dialog box will appear.

  4. In the dialog box, configure the options:

    • Number: Set the number of points to be added.

  5. Click the "Okay" button in the dialog
    → The specified number of points will be added at evenly spaced intervals.


Add Point at Intersection

  1. Select one of the following tools:

    • 2D Editor > 2D Toolbar > Edit Tool

    • 2D Editor > 2D Toolbar > Transform Tool

  2. Right-click on one of the following objects:

    • A segment or shape from Pattern / Internal / Hole / Topology
      → A context menu will appear.

  3. Click the following menu option in the context menu:

    • Add Point at Intersection
      → A point will be added to the selected segment.
      → If there are multiple intersection points, multiple points will be added.


Add Point on Overlapping Segment

  1. Select the following tool:

    • 2D Editor > 2D Toolbar > Edit Tool

  2. Among the overlapping or connected segments and points, right-click on the point
    → A context menu will appear.

  3. Click the following menu option in the context menu:

    • Add Point on Overlapping Segment

      → A point will be added to the segment that overlaps with the selected point.


Move / Delete Point

  1. Select the following tool:

    • 2D Editor > Toolbar > Edit

  2. Perform Point Actions:

    • Move: Click and drag a point to move it.

    • Delete: Right-click on the point, and select the menu from the popup menu that appears.


Merge Points

  1. Select the following tool:

    • 2D Editor > Toolbar > Edit

  2. Select two points on internal lines.

  3. Click the first point

    → The point is selected.

  4. While holding the Shift key, click the second point
    → The first point remains selected, and the second point is also selected.

  5. Right-click on either of the selected points
    → A popup menu appears.

  6. Click the desired menu option from the popup:

    • Merge

      • to Right-click: Merges the two points to the location of the right-clicked point.

      • to Average: Merges the two points at the midpoint between them.

      • to Intersection: Merges the two points at their intersection point.


Convert to Curve Point

Add multiple curve points within a single segment to create a smooth, flowing curve.

  1. Select the following tool:

    • 2D Editor > 2D Toolbar > Edit Tool

  2. Right-click on a straight point of the pattern or internal shape.
    → A context menu will appear.

  3. From the context menu, click Convert to Curve Point.
    → The straight point will be converted into a curve point.


Delete Curve

Removes Hermite curve points and Bézier handles on the segment.

  1. Select the following tool:

    • 2D Toolbar > Edit Tool

  2. Right-click on the curve
    → A context menu will appear.

  3. From the context menu, click Delete Curve.

    → This will remove all Hermite curve points and Bézier handles on the segment, converting it into a straight line.

Add Even Points

  1. Select one of the following tools:

    • 2D Editor > 2D Toolbar > Point Tool

    • 2D Editor > 2D Toolbar > Edit Tool

  2. Right-click on a segment of a pattern / internal / topology shape
    → A context menu will appear.

  3. Click the "Add Even Points" option in the context menu
    → A dialog box will appear.

  4. In the dialog box, configure the options:

    → The straight point will be converted into a curve point.


Delete Curve

  2. Right-click on the curve
    → A context menu will appear.

  3. From the context menu, click Delete Curve.
