Extend / Trim

Extends or trims the internal line to the nearest pattern outline or another internal line. 📦Added in 2025 v2.2

1. Click the following tools:

   • 2D Editor > Toolbar > Edit

   • 2D Editor > Toolbar > Transform

2. Right-click on either end point or a segment of the internal shape.
   → A right-click popup menu appears.

3. Click the appropriate menu based on your needs:

   • Extend to

     • Pattern Outline: Extends or trims the line to the nearest pattern outline.

     • Internal Line: Extends or trims the line to the nearest internal line.

Snap

Snap allows points to automatically snap to nearby points or segments when adding or moving them.

Snap while Moving 📦Added in 2025 v2.1

1. Select the following tools:

   • 2D Editor > 2D Toolbar > Edit

2. Click and drag a point on the pattern or internal shape.
   → As you move the point closer to another point or segment, it will automatically snap to the nearby point or segment.

   
   

Snap to Selected Point📦Added in 2025 v2.2

1. Select the following tool:

   • 2D Editor > 2D Toolbar > Edit

2. Select the points of two or more patterns/internal shapes.

3. Right-click on the point where you want to snap to.
   → A context menu will appear.

4. From the context menu, click Snap.
   → All selected points will snap to the location of the right-clicked point.

   
   

Snap by Distance 📦Added in 2025 v2.2

1. Select the following tool button:

   • 2D Editor > 2D Toolbar > Edit Tool

2. Perform the following actions → A context menu will appear.

   • Right-click on a point of the internal / topology shape opened.

3. Click the following menu option in the context menu:

   • Snap by Distance → A dialog box will appear.

4. In the dialog box, configure the following option:

   • Distance: Enter the snap radius. → The snapping result is previewed in real time.

5. Click the Okay button.
   → The points will snap accordingly.
